Configure User Election form

The User Election form is where users sign up to participate in the Extraordinary Public Transport product.

This form includes a field to enter their desired salary sacrifice contribution amount, and a check box for them to say they have agreed to the terms and conditions.

Employees have to first be set up as users in your Extraordinary customer portal first - we check their user profile email to confirm they're your employee.

How do I get to the Election form?

Head to the Extraordinary Public Transport page: https://customer.extraordinarypay.com/public-transport or select Public Transport from the left navigation menu.

What can I configure?

You are able to see a preview of the form on the right side of the page. All change you make will be rendered here.

IMPORTANT: Make sure to save any changes you make using the SAVE button at the bottom of the page. Any changes made won't be visible on the employee site unless you save them.

At the top of the page you can chose whether to display the form at the top of the https://my.extraordinarypay.com/ page. All users can go to this page to check their account balances, and by default all people can sign up for the Public Transport option. If you want to hide this and enable signup for a select group you can set that up later in the process. We recommend you leave this on the default. Employees will have the option to selectively opt out if not interested anyway.

You can configure the text at the top of the Election form window. As you make changes these will show in the preview to the right. You may wish to change the generic 'each pay cycle' to match your actual pay cycle for example, or include how to contact your internal People and Culture team or Payroll team with questions.

If you'd like to provide your own Information or Terms page for your team to agree to - hosted on your intranet for example - you can toggle to use your own and include the link to them instead. When employees click the "more information" or "terms and conditions" links in the form, they will then be directed to your linked URL.
